How is the :kontroller powered — and how much power does it need?

The KLANG:kontroller can be powered either via PoE (Power over Ethernet) over its Neutrik etherCON connection, or via the included DC power supply. It uses standard IEEE 802.3af PoE (Class 0), so plan for up to 15 W per port on your network switch — the actual power draw in operation is somewhat lower. When compliant PoE is available, no separate power supply is needed.
