Collect Logs & Backup Settings

What is contained in the Logs?

KLANG:app makes it easy to gather all settings, showfiles and logs from your entire KLANG system. You don’t need manual USB exports or separate email steps. With one single click, you can collect:

  • Internal settings and presets from all KLANG hardware on the network
  • Log files from all KLANG:app instances connected to the same network

This gives you a complete overview of your setup; ideal for troubleshooting or support or simply as a Backup.

How to Collect Logs

  1. In KLANG:app, make sure you are in Admin mode.
  2. Go to CONFIG > INFO > Collect Logs

  3. While logs are being collected, you can enter additional information about your setup.
  4. Once collection is complete a file dialog appears. Choose a location to store the ZIP file.
Send this ZIP archive to the KLANG support team if you have a question about your setup.
Open the ZIP archive, go to the subfolder of your device and locate the folder Presets that contains the showfiles. You can drag and drop the showfiles on KLANG:app and thus import them to KLANG:app and transfer them to other KLANG processors from there.
